Skilled Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric NP) to provide high-quality psychiatric care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges
Responsibilities
Responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing immediate psychiatric and substance use disorders through both therapeutic and pharmacological interventions
Diagnose mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, psychotic disorders, and more
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive integrated care and support
Educate patients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and self-management techniques
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards
Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care, including new medications and therapeutic approaches
Qualifications
Certified Menetal Health Nurse Practitioner
1-2 years of OR experience preferred but not required
Hold a current and unrestricted license or certification
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to work as a team member
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate
