Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Traffic Project Manager to join our team in Ohio! The candidate that fills this role can be located anywhere in Ohio. This role will provide client management and design of traffic projects. We are seeking experience with managing, directing, and supervising the work efforts of assigned staff and coordinate the technical and managerial direction provided by management regarding scope, schedule, quality, and budget of the projects.
Our engineers design safe, effective, and award winning transportation projects that enhance the infrastructure of our communities. Our experts ensure that complex interchanges flow smoothly and signature highway corridors are a gateway to the communities they represent. We provide planning and analysis services to create cost effective solutions that also improve safety and reduce traffic congestion.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of traffic projects.
Lead, coach, and mentor traffic teams.
Manage clients and develop new business.
Perform engineering calculations and create estimates.
Perform QA/QC by verifying design methodology, calculations, outcomes, etc.
Prepare or review scopes of work and budgets, and schedule assignments.
Prepare proposals to provide professional services.
Align traffic practices and processes with company strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
10+ years or relevant traffic design experience is required.
PE license is required; PTOE is a plus.
Prior experience with ODOT is a plus.
Proficient in MicroStation and AutoCAD with a working knowledge of Synchro, VISSIM, Open Roads, HSM and HCS.
Previous experience mentoring staff.
Previous experience managing projects from planning through the conceptual phase to final design.
Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
