About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Administrator with a strong focus on customizing Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and approval workflows. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our Salesforce environment, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. You will play a critical role in enhancing our sales processes by streamlining quote generation, improving order accuracy, and accelerating deal closures.


What You’ll Do

Salesforce Administration:

  • Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and permissions within the Salesforce environment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Salesforce issues, including data quality, system performance, and integration problems.
  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including data backups, security reviews, and upgrades.
  • Provide end-user support and training on Salesforce functionalities, including CPQ and approval workflows.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce features, including custom fields, page layouts, workflows, and automation Flows to improve and expand the Salesforce experience and functionality.
  • Simplify page layouts and improve navigation and load times.
  • Support the Service Cloud functions and user community via Jira tickets for ongoing enhancements, bugs, automations, and process improvements. 
  • Create feedback loops with end users to identify pain points and areas for improvement

CPQ Customization:

  • Configure and maintain Salesforce CPQ settings, including product catalogs, pricing rules, discount schedules, and quote templates.
  • Customize quote documents to meet specific customer and sales requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related issues, ensuring accurate and efficient quote generation.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to gather requirements and implement CPQ enhancements.

Approval Workflow Design and Implementation:

  • Design and implement complex approval workflows for sales opportunities, contracts, and other critical business processes.
  • Configure approval rules, routing, and escalation paths to ensure timely and accurate decision-making.
  • Monitor workflow performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for approval workflows.
  • Review and optimize existing processes / workflows.

Data Management:

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Salesforce platform.
  • Develop and implement data cleansing, unnecessary custom field & object removal and deduplication strategies.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track key sales metrics and identify trends.
  • Implement data archiving strategies (outdated or rarely used data) to improve system performance

Project Management:

  • Participate in Salesforce-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan projects, and ensure successful delivery.

Role Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ configuration and best practices. 
  • Expertise in designing and implementing complex approval workflows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification and CPQ Certification preferred.
