About you

You are an experienced Integrated Consumer Marketing leader with a passion for consumer technology or education. You will design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audiences. You blend creativity with data-driven strategies to amplify our brand, engage consumers, and drive adoption of our products in  Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam markets in partnership with our strategic partners.

About this role 

You will be responsible for driving consumer revenue growth and enhancing learner engagement in New Ventures’ focus markets. In this role, you will lead and inspire a team, take ownership of business goals, and collaborate with internal stakeholders—including global creative, pricing, communications, and product teams—as well as external partners, such as marketing agencies, global media representatives (Meta/Google), and key regional strategic partners.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligning with marketing objectives and consumer insights. 

  • Oversee the marketing annual calendar, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet business goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with global product and marketing teams to incorporate consumer insights into the international strategy and execute locally.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with our local strategic partners to align on marketing goals and consistent marketing communications. 

  • Manage relationships with regional marketing agencies, including Media, Creative, and Marketing Research agencies in New Ventures’ focus markets. 

  • Identify and define marketing processes and best practices in Japan and scale the approach to other New Ventures’ focus markets.

What you’ll have

  • 7+ years of consumer marketing experience (either at an agency or a brand), with at least 2 years in multi-national companies/ brands focusing on the Japanese market

  • Experience in leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, including campaign briefing,  media planning, creative development, and measurement

  • Fluent in English and Japanese (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with global teams and local markets; Proficiency in Korean is a plus

  • Proficiency with marketing tools such as Google Analytics and lifecycle marketing platforms

  • Hands-on experience with digital paid marketing channels, including SEM, YouTube, Meta, and other local channels

  • A data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills to measure, report, and optimize campaign performance.

  • Passion for technology and education with an understanding of how learning improves consumers’ lives.
