We are seeking a Director of Sales to join our team remotely.

Requirements
  • Foster and embody a sales culture that reinforces a robust, disciplined sales engine and sustained new business generation are foundational to a healthy and successful insurance services firm. 
  • Build, roll out and execute across our rapidly growing footprint a scalable, repeatable enterprise sales process, consisting of disciplined qualification, prospecting, messaging and opportunity advancement strategies. Priorities include:
  • CRM tool selection, implementation & customization.
  • Crafting sales leadership reports enabling transparency and accountability in driving sales excellence.
  • New business leader board.
  • Variance to goal, plan and prior year.
  • Defined opportunity stages and advancement milestones through the close.
  • Reporting at the enterprise, region, profit center, branch and individual level.
  • Lead generation.
  • Assembly & allocation of suspect/prospect universe and pre-qualification parameters.
  • Prospect data scrubbing protocol.
  • Design & cadence for periodic inspection of producer pipeline and sales activity.
  • Group and individual coaching.
  • Opportunity war room routine for collaborative opportunity advancement strategy.
  • Collaborate on design of uniform, integrated proposal tool/template.
  • Prospect clearing system.
  • Create go-to-market strategies for CL & HNW market, including inbound/outbound campaign management.
  • Producer recruiting, development & incentivization:
  • In addition to the existing developmental producers, hire, coach and develop additional sales professionals to exceed activity and production targets. 
  • Collaborate in recruitment of seasoned producer candidates as part of our succession plan for sunsetting producers/principals.
  • Collaborate on creative compensation and incentive models to align interests with behaviors
  • Coach the team on messaging refinement, opportunity positioning, follow-up techniques, and sales meeting preparation and execution.
  • Collaborate with field leadership to facilitate client upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Co-opt technical resources and SMEs in the field in support of boosting the team's conversion rates.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current insurance market trends, products and solutions, imparting that knowledge to bolster success of the team.
  • Monitor documented sales activity and performance, providing feedback and coaching to drive team success.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):

  • Strong leadership skills, positive energy, and ability to develop and drive a high-performing sales team.
  • Exceptional communication and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other corporate departments and the field.
  • Competent usage of CRM/Salesforce Automation tools, Microsoft Office products (Excel) and mobile device platforms.
  • Must demonstrate King's core values and culture-carrying behavior.

Required:

  • 10-15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in sales leadership.
  • 5+ years insurance experience preferable.
  • Undergraduate BA/BS degree.
