Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Development and Support:
o Design, develop, and maintain customizations, extensions, modifications,
localizations, and integrations within Oracle EBS.
o Develop and modify reports, forms, workflows, and interfaces using Oracle
development tools such as PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle
Workflow.
2. System Integration:
o Ensure seamless integration of Oracle EBS with other systems and applications.
o Develop and maintain interfaces between Oracle EBS and third-party
applications.
3. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
o Provide technical support for Oracle EBS applications.
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle EBS modules.
o Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent
recurrence of issues.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and other stakeholders
to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
o Participate in project planning, design, testing, and implementation phases.
o Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients.
5. Documentation and Training:
o Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, extensions, and
integrations.
o Provide training and support to end-users and other team members on Oracle EBS
technical aspects.
6. Performance Optimization:
o Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle EBS applications and related
processes.
o Implement best practices for coding, performance tuning, and application
security.
7. Upgrades and Patches:
o Assist in the planning and execution of Oracle EBS upgrades and patches.
o Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during upgrades and patches.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant.
o Proven experience in Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle EBS Cloud.
• Technical Skills:
o Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports,
Oracle Workflow, and Oracle BI Publisher.
o Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Application
Development Framework (ADF) is a plus.
o Knowledge of Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, SCM, HRMS, and
Procurement.
