Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Supervisor with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to oversee financial operations and ensure seamless system functionality. The ideal candidate will combine technical proficiency in Oracle EBS with a solid background in financial processes, reporting, and analysis. The role requires the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and the optimization of ERP functionalities.

Key Responsibilities: 
1. Financial Operations Management: 
  • Supervise financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable,  general ledger, and fixed assets. 
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and accounting standards. 
  • Lead the monthly and year-end financial close processes within Oracle EBS. 
2. Oracle EBS System Management: 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with IT teams. 
  • Oversee system configurations, updates, and enhancements to support business 
requirements. 
3. Data Reconciliation and Reporting: 
  • Reconcile data between Oracle sub-ledgers and the General Ledger (GL). 
  • Generate and analyze financial reports to provide actionable insights. 
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data within Oracle EBS. 
4. Process Optimization: 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy  in financial operations. 
  • Develop and document workflows and procedures for financial processes within  Oracle EBS. 
5. Technical Support and Coordination: 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle EBS with other  business systems. 
  • Provide technical support for end-users and conduct training sessions. 
  • Work closely with external consultants and vendors for technical enhancements and troubleshooting. 
6. Compliance and Auditing: 
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. 
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate data and system insights. 
Qualifications and Skills: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.  
• 5+ years of experience in finance and Oracle EBS (R12). 
• Strong technical knowledge of Oracle EBS Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM). 
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and report development. 
• Familiarity with Oracle workflows, alerts, and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle BI, FSG). 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. 
• Experience in financial process improvement and system integration is a plus. 

Preferred Skills: 
• Understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements within Oracle EBS. 
• Project management experience in Oracle EBS implementations or upgrades.
