Responsibilities
The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Power Pages Portals and Power Apps, encompassing all IT development needs.
Job Summary:
As a Microsoft Power Platform Developer, this role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions within Dynamics 365 CRM using Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power BI, with a primary emphasis on Power Pages. The position prioritizes performance optimization to ensure system efficiency and a seamless user experience, while also staying updated on the latest features and best practices.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
Develop and Customize Solutions including Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI) within Dynamics 365 CRM.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate D365 CRM with other systems and applications.
Provide software development mentoring and assistance for junior developers.
Produce standardized and detailed design specifications.
Work with key stakeholders to produce business requirement documentation in line with development best practices as well as regulatory requirements.

Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience. Stay updated on the latest features and best practices for the Microsoft Power Platform and D365 CRM
Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Produce unit test plans to demonstrate understanding of the required results and test individual projects. Develop integration unit tests.
Participate in code reviews both as a reviewer and reviewee
Work within time and resource constraints to meet deadlines. Identify and communicate issues with project deliveries
Lead and assist in all development and application projects, working closely with department leaders and stakeholders.

Experience:
3+ years Proven experience in customizing and designing customer portal sites using power pages.
8+ years of Software Development experience with 4+ years in leading and delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions, with a focus on Dynamic 365, Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power BI.
8+ years’ experience in coding, testing and system analysis using C# .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API and web services.
Hands on JavaScript, HTML, Web Page rendering and CSS.
Proven experience in developing and customizing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and D365 CRM
D365 customization including Plugins, custom workflows, JavaScript.
Experience in designing and delivering system integration using Power Automate, Azure functions, Logic Apps
Experience with integrating third-party systems and services via APIs and connectors.
Experience developing custom applications and integrations directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure.
Understanding and experience in a regulated health care environment is an asset.
Understanding and working knowledge of MuleSoft is an asset.
Understanding and experience with project methodologies such as SCRUM, AGILE would be an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience
