Job Description

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Review and verify case details obtained from team members
  • Inquire with premises risk management for insurance carrier information
  • Contact insurance companies to locate claim related information
  • Report new claims to insurance companies
  • Enter claim information into database system
  • Send Letters of Representation to all corresponding insurance companies

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have the ability to be empathetic yet persuasive
  • Confident


Education And/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year university – no specific field of study


Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.


REQUIRED: Resume, References, Pay Expectation

  • Comms/phone skill – comfortable speaking in English/phone – communicate with insurance company
  • Prefer but not necessary to have insurance exp (training will be provided)
  • Data entry exp – nice to have
  • Prefer those with full time role – but will accept freelancing as long as they have the qualities
