About the Role

We're looking for a Director of Memberships who will drive the growth of our B2B, Sales Leadership membership program “The Pivotal Peak Alliance”. We’re seeking the right person to help us significantly grow our community across the United States. If you’re passionate about creating and nurturing relationships, collaborating across teams, and scaling a membership-based community, this is the role for you.
As our Director of Memberships, you'll not only execute strategies for growth but also play a key role in shaping and expanding our vibrant community. Your ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and create impactful experiences will be crucial to our success.
Key Responsibilities
Community Leadership & Expansion:
- Serve as the community's primary champion, connecting with current and potential members to cultivate a sense of belonging and engagement.
- Develop and execute strategies for scaling our membership base, focusing on cultivating meaningful relationships and ensuring a personalized experience for each member.
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with sponsors, industry leaders, and influencers to expand our reach and offer additional value to members.
Relationship Building & Member Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to members, helping them navigate their journey and ensuring their long-term success with their company and within the community.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative environment, ensuring each member feels heard, valued, and connected to others.
- Regularly engage with members through personalized 1:1 coaching, check-ins, and events to drive retention and long-term satisfaction.
Facilitation & Content Development:
- Work closely with the leadership team to curate and introduce relevant content, training sessions, and topics that spark member engagement and foster growth.
- Lead and facilitate group meetings, learning experiences, and events that bring members together, creating opportunities for networking and shared learning.
- As the membership grows, recruit, onboard, and mentor additional facilitators to maintain a high standard of engagement and community experience.
Sales & Business Development:
- Expand the membership base through networking, sales, and strategic outreach, leveraging your relationships and influence to bring new members into the fold.
- Work with potential partners and sponsors to bring fresh opportunities and insights to the community.
- Continuously listen to member feedback and identify opportunities for cross-selling value-add services and other community-driven initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience:
- Demonstrated success in growing a membership-based community or similar ventures, with a focus on relationship-building and community engagement.
- Background in sales/marketing leadership, with the ability to foster connections and drive growth through networking and personalized outreach.
- Exposure to B2B marketing and sales enablement tools; familiarity with AI and portals a plus.
- Track record of aligning team efforts with strategic objectives and driving results through effective leadership.
- Strong background in mentoring and guiding individuals to achieve professional growth and success within their roles.
Skills:
- Exceptional relationship-building and facilitation skills; able to connect people and ideas seamlessly.
- Strong ability to engage members and create lasting, positive connections both within and outside of the organization.
- Proven experience in coaching and guiding individuals and teams to success.

Performance Metrics
- Strategic Execution: Ensure the team delivers on key initiatives, aligning daily operations with the overarching strategy to drive growth and member satisfaction.
- Member Acquisition and Retention: Meet or exceed membership growth targets while maintaining high retention rates through proactive engagement and value delivery.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets effectively, balancing investments and operational expenses to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
