Job description

Description

NATECH is currently seeking a Senior Instructional System Designer (ISD) to support the Joint Knowledge Online (JKO). This position is fully remote, but candidate must live within Lawton, OK and be available to attend meetings and working sessions as needed.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Integrates audio, visual, and written material into interesting, instructive, and intuitive products.
  • Develops JKO database.
  • Develop and distribute, online educational and training content utilizing instructional systems design (ISD), learning theory (Andragogy, Transformational Learning, Experiential Learning, Self-Directed Learning), and content development processes using JKO Learning Management System (LMS) platform.
  • Produce written, audio, and graphic products; training programs for use in distributed synchronous and asynchronous programs; computer-based courseware; and interactive educational products.
  • Collaborate with other Training and Education team members to assist in the conceptual design of new interactions.
  • Make edits and adjustments to interactive templates.
  • Integrate audio, visual, and written material into interesting, instructive, and intuitive products.
  • Completes products and material according to plans of action and milestone (POAM) schedules.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution with minimum 10 years of experience in training or technical experience.; or specialized technical training and certifications directly related to the requirement
  • 3-5 years’ experience with eLearning practices and technology strategies in a military training environment.
  • Experience with eLearning and curriculum and courseware authoring for web-based training and education development.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL)
  • Experience with Sharable Content Object Resource Model (SCORM).
  • Has experience with planning and managing production of courseware and other educational and training products.
  • Has experience with synchronizing the efforts of multiple teams to produce products and applying quality control testing procedures to ensure product operations and utility.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Animate is a plus
  • Experience using Captivate
  • Experience with Graphic Designing is a plus.
