Job Summary

In this role your primary responsibility will be to work with insurance carriers and write policies for new and

existing payroll clients in multiple states throughout Paycor’s footprint. You will maintain and build close

relationships with the entire sales force, and are heavily involved in the education and training of worker's

compensation. You’ll be responsible for achieving or exceeding assigned monthly sales quotas and to maintain

required activity. In this role you are required to obtain your Property and Casualty license and acquire a license

for applicable states.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Generate & conduct Worker’s Compensation appointments via phone
  • Conduct analysis and work with carriers to write appropriate quote for each business
  • Educate and build relationships with the field teams to increase knowledge of WC Agency
  • Work closely with Paycor operations staff and insurance carriers to achieve client satisfaction
  • Maintain required sales reports & CRM database
  • Track activity, pipeline status and sales results using Salesforce
  • Complete all required procedures when turning in sales
  • Achieve or exceed assigned monthly and annual sales quotas

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Four-year degree, business or business –related preferred
  • 5+ years of professional prior work experience; 3+ years sales experience preferred
  • Workers Compensation or insurance experience preferred
  • Prior HCM experience preferred
  • Prior agency CSR, account management, or underwriting experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
  • Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with internal and external partners
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to secure applicable resident state P&C License within 90 days of hire
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced work environment

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $50,000-$60,000. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position .
