Job description

Medical Device Technical Writer (Contract W2 only - no C2C)
Remote with Occasional Onsite Visits in Nashua, NH - needs to be within driving distance
Duration: 3-6 Months

Are you a skilled Technical Writer with experience in the medical device industry? Do you excel at crafting clear and precise user manuals that meet regulatory standards? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

The company:
An innovative startup in the medical device space, dedicated to advancing healthcare technology. The office is based in Nashua, New Hampshire, and they are looking for a Medical Device Technical Writer to join them on a contract basis.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and write comprehensive user manuals for cutting-edge medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and regulatory teams to gather detailed product information.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documentation tailored for diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals and end-users.
  • Participate in occasional onsite meetings in Nashua, NH, to collaborate with team members and gain firsthand product insights.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the medical device industry.
  • Expertise in developing user manuals and technical documentation for medical devices.
  • Familiarity with imaging and navigation systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Based in or near New England, with the flexibility to travel to Nashua, NH, for occasional onsite visits.
