Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Salesforce Development Team Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Development and Testing, you will lead our B2B development team and drive the design and execution of Salesforce-based solutions. This role demands a highly skilled professional with a strong technical background and leadership capabilities to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of B2B products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide coaching and expertise on development within the IT sales and trade domain (retailer portals/Core CRM).
Manage the overall build of digital services and solutions that meet business requirements and comply with all relevant standards.
Provide regular and effective progress updates to manage any delivery risks or issues.
Oversee and direct support where Developers provide root cause analysis and service restoration.
Provide operational oversight and technical leadership to a team of Developers.
Collaborate to ensure digital solutions are built with best practices and reusability of code.
Work closely with relevant teams to ensure alignment and coordination.
Ensure compliance with all governance standards.
Plan, track, and report on technical delivery.
Execute the product backlog with technical precision.

Key Relationships:

Internal: Product Owner, Business Partners, Business Analysts, Market Product Owners, SMEs, Architecture & Design Leads, and Architects.
External: Partners and Suppliers in the relevant subject matter area.

Qualifications:

Essential:

Salesforce data modeling, integration patterns, and architecture practices.
Knowledge of Salesforce offerings, including licensing options.
Experienced Salesforce technical developer (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud).
Salesforce certification (Administrator/Platform Developer I and II and/or Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud consultant, preferably both; preference for Consumer Goods Cloud, TPM).
Experience in supporting business development activities and estimating Salesforce solutions based on minimal requirements.
Experience in systems development and understanding of the systems development/delivery life cycle, including requirements and design.
Strong information analysis, modeling, and database design skills.
Knowledge in established and emerging data technologies.
Ability to influence across internal IS and business stakeholders.
Inspirational leadership qualities and a common-sense approach.
