An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as an Account Manager for Lifecycle Services at Emerson, looking after our Install Base clients in the Scotland region. You will play a pivotal role in renewing and growing Long-Term Service Agreements, whilst promoting our innovative Software, Solutions and Services to our clients. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of available market and business opportunities for Lifecycle Services within the Distributed Control Systems market.
  • Utilize territory planning to maximize effectiveness and customer facing selling activities.
  • Identify new and actively engage with existing customers within territory by promoting unique product solutions and understanding their business drivers and goals.
  • Maintain and increase the customer base by developing, aligning and supporting the relations between all levels of Emerson’s and the Customer’s organizations.
  • Increase Emerson Lifecycle Services market share with targeted competitor displacement across all industry sectors.
  • Actively and productively utilize the available sales processes, including Solution Selling, Critical Site Plans, CRM and Performance Dashboard (Whitespace).
  • Continuously forecast the territory expectations and update the ongoing business planning tools for relevant reviews.
  • Actively collaborate with Regional Business teams across our full portfolio of products to maximize Emerson, Lifecycle Services.
  • Liaise with internal and external sales teams in product knowledge sharing, planning and execution activities to continuously improve the customer service levels
  • Obtain market intelligence to position Lifecycle Services offerings and Solutions effectively at highest winning margin.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Proven Field Sales experience with consistent record in winning projects and services
  • Relationship building, communication, influencing, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Live within reasonable daily commutable distance to the Sales Territory (Aberdeen and Central Scotland)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of Lifecycle Services for DCS / SIS / PCS
