Job description

Data Engineer
Prior Ruby on Rails experience needed
Fully Remote - Must be based in the EU
Contract B2B / Outside IR35
6 month contract with expected extensions

Skills and Experience Required:

Data Engineering: Python, ETL / ELT and data pipelines, cloud native Databases
Database modelling: Strong experience in designing and implementing database schemas, working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Ruby on Rails: Some xperience developing applications using the Ruby on Rails framework.
Event-Based Systems: Familiarity with event-driven architectures, such as systems that react to events of messaging queues.
Terraform: Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, particularly terraform, for managing cloud infrastructure.
Insurtech/Startup Environment: Experience working within Insurtech/FinTech or highly regulated industries.
