Overview: The Mendix Developer plays a critical role in our organization by leveraging the Mendix low-code platform to create, maintain, and enhance scalable applications. As a key member of the development team, the Mendix Developer collaborates closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes. This position is vital in accelerating our digital transformation initiatives, enabling quicker delivery of applications while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications on the Mendix platform following best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements.
Participate in design sessions to create application architecture and user interfaces.
Implement application features and functionality using Mendix tools and libraries.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure application reliability and performance.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Document application development processes, including technical specifications.
Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Maintain version control and manage application releases effectively.
Stay up-to-date with Mendix platform updates and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Mendix Developer or similar role.
Strong understanding of low-code development principles.
Solid knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Experience with REST and SOAP web services integration.
Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
Understanding of user experience (UX) design and principles.
