Job description

Alpha Media - is seeking a driven, results-oriented Agricultural Sales Executive to join our rapidly growing sales division with our Corporate sales team. This position is ideal for an individual deeply entrenched in the agricultural community with an extensive network of contacts and a proven track record of success in agricultural sales. If you are passionate about working directly with farmers, agribusinesses, and agricultural suppliers to help them grow their operations through tailored sales solutions, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This position can be remote from any part of the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop New Business: Generate new business leads and expand our client base within the agriculture industry, focusing on farming, equipment, seed, livestock, and agri-tech markets.
  • Grow Existing Client Relationships: Build on established client relationships, focusing on deepening trust and understanding their needs for continued sales growth.Tailored Sales Solutions: Customize sales plans integrating agricultural products, services, andsolutions that meet the specific goals of your clients. These could include solutions such as precision agriculture tools, agronomic consulting, fertilizers, seeds, equipment, and crop protection.
  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of the latest agricultural trends, innovations, and industry-specific marketing strategies to present clients with the best products that meet their business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the internal support teams, including logistics, marketing, and product development, to ensure the timely delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Achieve KPIs and Sales Targets: Regularly review client and market data to measure and achieve sales goals. Develop and implement data-driven sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Client Education: Serve as a trusted advisor by educating your clients on new products, innovations, and industry trends that can improve their business operations.
  • Reporting: Maintain records of sales, client interactions, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to present detailed reports to the leadership team and ensure transparency in sales performance.


Requirements:

  • Agricultural Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural sales with a deep understanding of the agriculture industry, including farming operations, crop production, livestock management, and agricultural technology.
  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated success in generating sales growth and consistently exceeding sales revenue goals.
  • Strong Network: A well-established network of contacts in the agriculture industry, including farmers, agricultural suppliers, and distributors.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to give compelling presentations to both small and large groups.
  • Industry Knowledge: A thorough understanding of agricultural products, services, and tools that help clients maximize their productivity and profitability.
  • Customer-Focused Approach: Ability to provide tailored, customer-centric solutions that align with clients’ operational and business objectives.
  • Sales Drive: Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and high-growth environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License: The position requires a valid driver’s license and the use of a fully insured personal vehicle.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of agri-tech products such as precision agriculture tools and digital farming technologies.
  • Experience working with a broad range of agricultural products including seeds, fertilizers, crop protection, equipment, and livestock supplies.
