Job summary:
The Electrical Commissioning Superintendent is responsible to manage all the Electrical Testing (Precom and Com) scope of the Plant. He will direct a team of Engineers,Supervisors and Electrical Technicians / Foremen.
Department: Pre-commissioning / Commissioning / Start Up and O&M
Location: Paris Based / abroad on projects
Manager: Head of PCC/SU/O&M Department (functionally)/ Commissioning manager (operationally)
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities:
- Strong HSE awareness and commitment to site HSE policy is required.
- Responsible for developing Home office preparation documentation
- Familiar with Completion management systems population/development and use.
- He will manage a team of Engineers and Supervisors and the subcontractor team in charge of the electrical testing.
- He will be responsible for mobilisation and follow up of the vendors.
- He is responsible to ensure that the activities are done in line with commissioning schedule and according to established priorities.
- Plan the commissioning tasks ensuring all commissioning requirements are captured in the Commissioning Database
- He will have also to liaise with COMPANY representative and validate commissioning program for testing and energisation.
- Coordinates commissioning punch list clearance activities with project team groups
- Reports progress, performance, issues, and challenges to Commissioning Superintendent.
Experience and ideal profile:
- Must have good experience in Oil & Gas Industry in a similar or relevant position
- Must have a recognised Technical XP in LV/HV distribution system testing, Electrical control systems, UPS and Battery testing, Relay testing, Turbo generator testing, ESDG and EDG testing, VFD/VSD equipment testing,
- An experience in Hydrogen and electrolyser industry would be a Plus
- Must have all the relevant trade accreditations required to perform the tasks required
- Have experience in PTW and LOTO process.
- A good command of English language is fundamental.
