ROLE

If so, you might be exactly who we are looking for.

This is a new position where you will work directly with the CEO & other executives in our advertising agency. 

This individual in this unique position will learn about the inner workings of the Company and will become a provider of crucial information to help guide the company & its clients.
The ideal candidate will not simply be a “number cruncher” but one who both wants to gain operational exposure and can think strategically beyond the basic work that needs to get done.  
Intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, and a great attitude are keys to success in this role.

This is a critical hire for the company, as this role will be accountable for helping to deliver on our company's revenue growth objectives.

This position will require someone who understands how to navigate a start-up environment, work with CEOs & founders, build relationships and maintain consistency across multiple departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple departments (Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Creative) to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Design reports to track financial metrics as well as operational metrics
  • Create analyses using disparate data sources and large volumes of detailed data, often starting from scratch
  • Translate the results of an analysis into easily understood presentation quality materials
  • Provide input through business modeling and pro forma analysis to support strategic decision-making in day-to-day operations and new programs
  • Proactively identify and evaluate strategic and operational opportunities and provide recommendations for potential solutions to CEO & other leadership members
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on key sales and marketing metrics, including HubSpot analytics, trends, etc.
  • Perform exploratory data analyses that helps the company better understand the customer and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Assist in forecasting revenue growth, financial planning, and resource allocation.
  • Support client reporting with relevant KPIs, campaign results, and data-driven recommendations.

  • Identify and propose at least 5 new data-driven optimization opportunities per quarter that contribute to revenue growth or operational efficiency.

    • This outcome underscores the analyst's strategic role in analyzing data beyond basic reporting to actively support initiatives that drive profitability and productivity improvements.
  • Develop and maintain an automated 'CEO Dashboard' covering 95% of key business and departmental KPIs, updated daily, enabling a 15% reduction in time spent on manual report reviews monthly.
    • Build and maintain an automated 'CEO Dashboard' that consolidates and displays major success KPIs for the entire business and each department.
    • Ensure the dashboard is updated in real-time or on a daily basis and provides a comprehensive overview of company performance. The dashboard should cover at least 95% of all relevant KPIs, including revenue, client performance, operational efficiency, and key departmental metrics.
    • This tool should enable the CEO to make strategic decisions more efficiently, leading to a 15% reduction in time spent on manual report reviews each month.
  • Deliver accurate revenue forecasts with a deviation of less than 5% from actual performance, contributing to informed decision-making.

    • These forecasts should inform decision-making and help align departmental goals with the company’s financial objectives. The ability to project revenue accurately supports strategic planning and financial stability.
  • Produce and deliver cost-benefit analysis reports on at least 3 major initiatives or campaigns per month, ensuring that each report includes ROI calculations and actionable recommendations.
    • Deliver monthly cost-benefit analysis reports that evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of ongoing projects, marketing campaigns, and other key initiatives.
    • The data analyst should track and compare costs versus benefits, presenting insights that help leadership make informed decisions to maximize profitability.
    • This analysis should have a direct impact on budget adjustments and margin improvement.
