Supply Chain -Project Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various aspects of our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of supply chain operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead and manage supply chain projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Supply Chain Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze and optimize inventory management, demand forecasting, and procurement processes.
• Implement best practices to streamline supply chain operations.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Implement contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.

Data Analysis:

• Utilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions.
• Generate regular reports on supply chain metrics and performance.

Administrative and Managerial Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team with a maximum workload of x clients and x hours per week.
• Effectively allocate tasks based on skill sets and workload, scheduling team members to specific clients.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from preparation to execution, and coordinate the invoicing process.
• Oversee the endorsement and turnover process of completed work to clients, conducting thorough quality checks.
• Coordinate timely processing of payments from clients, addressing any billing discrepancies.
• Conduct weekly alignment sessions to review projects, address challenges, and maintain strong communication within the team.
• Regularly assess the performance of each team member, providing constructive feedback and supporting professional development.Accurately collate and update daily time records to track individual and team activities.
• Submit weekly hours to HR payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of compensation.
• Establish regular monthly check-ins with clients to gather feedback and maintain positive client relationships.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis, showcasing the team's achievements.
• Actively identify and implement opportunities for continuous process improvements within the team's workflow.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain management and project management.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Familiarity with industry trends and best practices.
