Requirements:
· Ability to work effectively within a flexible and multidisciplinary framework is required.
· This mid / senior level position requires 3+ years related experience and bachelor's degree or higher with various industry certifications preferred.
· Private as well as public sector experience is a plus.
· A working understanding of IT Service Management concepts and experience is desirable.

· Working in close cooperation with colleagues for organizational change management and business analysis teams is expected.
· Experience managing a full spectrum of software, integration, infrastructure, and business process projects is a major plus.
· The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and hybrid approaches, and proven success delivering outcomes aligned with client expectations. Excellent leadership, communication and relationship skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to lead complex projects are key to success in this role.

Notes: Remote work site, Eastern time zone, 1st shift hours, weekdays, no travel anticipated.
Project Management methodologies and hybrid approaches
Work Hours: 8 to 5 (1 hour break)

The Enterprise Project and Initiative directorate in IT is seeking a highly motivated and creative IT Project Manager with a proven record of success driving high visibility projects to successful completion.
· The IT Project Manager works closely with IT leaders and key business stakeholders in the planning, resourcing, and executing of projects within IT and partnering units throughout the University.
· We seek candidates who will help advance the maturity of project management practices and play an active role in the evolution of Enterprise Projects and Initiatives as it provides strategic as well as tactical support to the VP of IT (CIO) and the broader Penn State IT community.
· Situated within the Office of Technology Innovation, for the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DDAR), the Office of Technology Innovation integrates project management, organizational change, and business analysis functions in support of large complex enterprise efforts.
· This position can be expected to lead efforts to and support an existing Information System team for workload prioritization, project initiatives and overall project management.
· This position will collaboration with the Technology Innovation Director, and university partner offices to align overall priorities for the DDAR Information Systems team.
