We’re on the lookout for a Project-based Google Merchant Specialist to join our expanding team and drive our company’s growth!
The Challenge
The company is excited to elevate our digital strategy by launching a Google Merchant platform. To bring this vision to life, we’re on the lookout for an experienced Google Merchant Specialist who can effectively set-up and manage our Google Merchant account while resolving issues related to Google bans or other problems with Google Merchant Center by offering a variety of potential solutions and options.
Day in the Life of a Google Merchant Specialist at GT Ecom
- Address and resolve issues related to Google bans or other problems with Google Merchant Center by providing a variety of potential solutions and options
- Identify root causes of the bans, offering strategies for compliance with Google’s policies.
- Provide guidance on how to appeal bans and/or rectify account suspensions, and suggest ways to optimize product listings to avoid future issues.
- Regularly track and analyze product performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain guidelines for product data quality and accuracy, ensuring all listings meet Google’s specifications.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align promotional strategies and campaigns with Google Merchant initiatives

You will be working directly with the CEO, who leads the overall vision and strategy for the company, focusing on expanding market reach, enhancing brand presence, and driving sustainable growth.
We would love to hear from you if…
- You have prior experience in a risk management role specifically in Google Merchant Center
- You recently worked with Google Merchant, having left no more than a year ago.
- You are capable of managing the reinstatement process for ad accounts and Google Merchant accounts
- You are knowledgeable in navigating Google’s policies and procedures to resolve account issues promptly and successfully
- You have experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing tools to enhance account performance.
- You have strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and compliance with Google Merchant Center requirements
- You have a strong analytical skills
