This position will start as a 16-week contract assignment with the goal of helping the organization thru the EOY, but has the potential of being converted to FTE pending performance, budget, and business needs.

Job Description
More of a task management role - 50% processing and 50% auditing and year-end tasks
Working with Payroll lead and Payroll Analyst to ensure processes are running smoothing
Review and approve any off-cycle checks that were submitted by the payroll team
Auditing data flowing from Workday to ADP, and general audits from taxes being assigned correctly
Has a role in auditing and reviewing entries in UKG
Series of audit reports, prorated leaves, multi-state taxing issues, documented audits as well
Answer complex questions like people on a leave, or escalated questions by tier 1 and tier 2 payroll teams
Breakdown Of Scope
50% Administer end-to-end payroll processing outcomes, including adherence to auditing and accuracy practices as defined in Sarbanes Oxley controls. Identifies thematic or systemic barriers and issues and collaborates with internal and external partners to implement corrective action.
35% Audit payroll outcomes to ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards of core payroll areas such as tax and associated tax filings, garnishments, wage and hour, cafeteria plans, etc. Maintain ad- hoc and periodic reporting to monitor accuracy of filings and ensures year-end tax statements and notifications are timely and complete.
15% Oversee and participate in year-end close procedures, including validating YTD reporting from ADP, previewing year end reports for gaps and common issues, processing amendments and assisting in “clean up” prior to issuing W-2 forms
