Job Title: Infrastructure Consultant

Location: Remote

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant specializing in cloud, IaaS, and SaaS architectures, with a focus on security and infrastructure best practices. This role will primarily support SAP Migration customers and requires hands-on expertise in AWS infrastructure. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify and implement solutions to meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for AWS systems running SAP and non-SAP applications.
Respond to customer tickets promptly and own infrastructure issues until resolution.
Identify the root cause of issues and recommend solutions, proactively addressing problems.
Support the build and migration of SAP systems on AWS in various project capacities.
Collaborate with BASIS and other teams to meet customer requirements.
Provide out-of-hours support on a scheduled rotational basis.
Deploy Lemongrass tooling to automate BASIS and infrastructure activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.
Experience working directly with clients and implementing processes/technologies that support technical and business functions.
Hands-on expertise in configuring cloud infrastructures using automation tools.
Familiarity with automated provisioning and DevOps tooling.
Experience in AWS IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS, including compute, storage, network, and load balancing.
In-depth knowledge of SUSE, RHEL, and Windows operating systems.
Strong understanding of networking principles, system hardening, and infrastructure management.
Experience with monitoring tools for both application and infrastructure environments.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results in high-stakes environments.
Perform periodic infrastructure and security checks and general maintenance based on the SysAid ticketing system.
