Seeking an experienced Web Producer with a strong focus on supporting and executing day-to-day operations within our Web Production team.
This role will sit within our Web Production team and partner directly with our Design/Content, Authoring, Compliance and Publishing teams to intake and process website requests for www.newyorklife.com through our end-to-end web production process, lead ongoing webpage reviews in accordance with our compliance and legal requirements, and support project workstream management for our Corporate Marketing-led website projects.
As a member of the Web Production team, this role will support in strategically partnering with key stakeholders around the organization to plan and lead delivery of web activations that align to business goals and drive results.
Key Responsibilities
First point of contact for all website requests coming into the Web Production Team.
Directly manages intake of website requests and ensures all necessary information per request is added to our Web Production ticketing system.
Accountable for working with our cross-functional team to create, publish and update website content according to our Web Production Process (e.g. Production, Content and Design, Authoring, QA/QC, Compliance and published).
Accountable for continuous website reviews and updates in accordance with our Compliance and Legal processes to ensure consistent adherence to applicable regulations.
Responsible for making sure all key stakeholders are kept informed of website request status and that any/all open questions are tracked and addressed in a timely manner.
Ensures website production process is aligned to on all Marketing-led workstreams.
Identifies and recommends improvements and optimizations to website production process over time.
Generates and maintains process documentation as needed.
Adherence to Project records retention rules.
Basic Requirements
2+ years of work experience within a web production role (or similar operational role within large-scale heavily matrixed web or marketing organizations).
Depth of knowledge and/or breadth of experience with website production (content/design, SEO, stakeholder reviews and approvals, adherence to legal reviews and approvals, adherence to website governance requirements, etc).
Experience with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Experience with marketing and/or web production project management systems such as JIRA, Asana, Workfront, Airtable or similar.
Experience with website publishing software and CMS systems is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is preferred (e.g. PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, etc).
Skills
Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate complex requirements and business objectives with team members who require that context to do their best work.
Skilled at leveraging existing process while always on the lookout for opportunities to reduce process friction and optimize where possible.
Takes to heart having a team-first mentality and demonstrates the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
Comfortable working within processes and workflows that are in an ongoing state of improvement and evolution according to the needs of the business.
