Job description

Are you an automotive mechanic or professional looking to make some extra money working a part-time job? Come join a rapidly growing automotive certification company as a mobile vehicle inspector.

You will use your mobile phone or tablet to complete a 30 to 45-minute inspection of the vehicle, and we will do all the work on the back end scheduling the appointment and coordinating with our customer. You will be a contractor and get paid generously on a per-inspection basis, on a weekly basis. You will learn our standardized inspection process and conduct inspections. You will need to have your own transportation.

Here are some of the basic responsibilities:

o Inspect automotive vehicles to ensure compliance to standards and governmental regulations.

o Inspect and document interior and exterior features and options.

o Check for frame damage, visible fluid leaks, and condition of belts and hoses.

o Test vehicle for wear-and-tear damage

o Inspects and assesses the condition of all the vehicle's essential mechanical systems and components.

o Suggest improvements to vehicles that fail inspection.

o Keep records of vehicles inspected.

o Check for non-OEM equipment installed on vehicle.

o Check fluid levels.

o Check preventive maintenance programs.

o Prepare reports based on findings from the inspections.
