Overview:

The SAP ABAP TM Consultant plays a crucial role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of SAP TM solutions. They are responsible for providing technical expertise and support for SAP TM modules, ensuring the smooth functioning of transportation management systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, develop, and customize SAP ABAP programs and reports to enhance TM functionalities.
Conduct system analysis and performance tuning to optimize SAP TM processes.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP TM modules and interfaces.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for SAP TM solutions.
Participate in testing, debugging, and quality assurance of custom developments.
Collaborate with functional consultants to integrate TM with other SAP modules.
Stay updated with SAP TM advancements and provide recommendations for system enhancements.
Support end-users with technical guidance, training, and issue resolution.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP TM processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development and customization.
Proven expertise in SAP TM module implementation and configuration.
Strong understanding of transportation management principles and processes.
Proficiency in technical documentation and report generation.
Experience in integrating SAP TM with other SAP modules.
Ability to analyze and optimize SAP TM system performance.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant SAP certifications would be advantageous.
