German Linguist (Freelance)

This is a remote position.

• Our client is building a large team of linguists, writers, and professionals with a strong command of written German to train an AI model for an ongoing project.
  
• You would be involved in different writing projects designed to train generative AI models. The tasks will include ranking AI-generated responses, writing or editing responses or short texts on a specific topic, or assessing the accuracy of comments, among others.
  
• Hours are completely flexible, but it's expected some level of availability (we aim for a minimum of 15-30 hours per week).
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in German communications or linguistics
  
• Minimum two years experience in the translation field
  
• Proficiency in translation tools and software's
  
• Knowledge of the translation process, terminology, and localization techniques
  
• Familiarity with localization guidelines and standards
  
• Ability to convert written materials into a second language
  
• Excellent translation, writing, and communication skills in German and English
  
• Fluency in German and English
