This Client is a Regtech/ Fintech company that focuses on KYC sharing optimization between banks and large corporations. Serves an international market currently expanding its business across six European in the coming two years. Was founded only three years ago in ING Innovation Labs, ING's internal incubation department for innovative and disruptive ideas. Their Product Development team is responsible for the discovery of new product features for further designing them, and the final development. We are looking for a Product Owner for one of their feature teams.

What you will be doing:
As a Product Owner, you are responsible for stakeholder management, prioritizing & managing the backlog. Together with the CJE and UXer in your team you discover new features, gather requirements from the business and transform these into user stories which will be picked by the development team. You innovate by converting client insights, market insights, and data analyses into improved and new features. Together with the other POs you set the right priorities for the product and manage stakeholders' expectations. You also have an active role in defining the future product vision and roadmap. You will be part of the product development team and will work closely with their designers, customer journey experts, other POs, the Business Development team, and the IT Platform team.

You work on:
Managing and prioritizing the product backlog
Stakeholder management.
Document Customer Journeys and Use Cases in their Functional Documentation Library.
Facilitate the teams coordinating sprint activities like refinement sessions.
Validations with users of new and improved functionalities
Build up and share knowledge of the KYC domain

Who are we looking for?
You are a senior product owner (at least 5 years of experience) available for at least 6 months on a freelance basis.
You make prioritization calls based on the information you have gathered from various stakeholders.
You are the bridge between business and IT, you have experience working with IT development teams.
You are a team player who is capable of motivating the team toward the sprint goals.
You can present the product and ideas to a larger audience.
You are curious, structured, and fun to work with.

What is required?
Has 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience with digital product development and working on customer journeys (e.g. Making customer journey maps, user story mapping, etc.).
Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management & Affinity with IT.
Experience in Agile/Scrum way of working.
Demonstrated being an intrapreneur and excellent communicator.

 Nice to have:
 A solid understanding of the KYC challenges within corporates and/or banks.
 Experiences in the Financial Institutes sector.
 Experience in a scale-up.
